Mermen
Mermen are a hideous breed of mossusks that have terrorized the worlds shores for millennia. While in recent times they have fallen out of the common knowledge, there was a time when every nation was continuously on guard again these amphibian monsters. They present a ghastly visage of terror with their mottled squid-like eyes and the tentacles that hang down from their beak, which houses a vicious radial (a chainsaw like set of sawing bones). They move on one large foot when above water, and possess 4 large tentacles for manipulating the world around them, whether violently or passively. They are reported to originate from the Isle of Mermen. The Isle of Mermen now lies abandoned in the northern half of the Grey-Wind sea. Its shell-like spires looming over the crashing waves, empty of Mermen. While mermen have been seen with their vicious tridents on several shores, they have not come close to their former threat (domination of many islands and shores) for over two hundred years. It is said that the Mermen were cursed by the human Gods, though no one really knows why the Mermen have almost disappeared, their society in ruins. Mermen tend to live for fifty years.
