The Bird People
The Bird People, or Avians, resemble a hybrid between human and bird. The have two legs, two arms, and small feathers over their entire bodies. Their faces are dominated by large beaks that curve downward. Some Avians have varying colors of feathers and shapes of beaks. All have the colorless black beady eyes of crows or sparrows. The bird people also have large wings and taloned feet. They have hollow bones and tend to live for about sixty years.
The bird people also have an affinity for all members of the bird family in the animal kingdom, often employing them as pets and servants. The Avian are generally a defensive and quiet people, though they can be deadly warriors when threatened.
