Dresi Isle
Dresi Island is a religious war zone. Eight different deities fight for followers in constant holy wars and disagreements. The two most powerful cults are the Cult of Xor and the Cult of Virra. The other six Gods/Goddesses are Hith, Jinoc, Altad, Kaka, Iruid, and Zenat. The wars between the cults is usually fought by paladins who have clerical training.
Cult of Xor: Xor is the god of chaos, the city of Xor is a havoc of noise, random streets and anarchy. He revels in all things random, he distains order. His symbol is lightening.
Cult of Virra: Virra is the god of order. The city of Virra holds a grid structure, has one supreme King, and has many codified rules and regulations. Virra hates disorder. His symbol is the starfish.
Cult of Hith: The god of the serpent. The followers of Hith believe the serpent and reptile is a holy creature and revere it as supreme. His symbol is the cobra.
Cult of Jinoc: The god of the sky. Jinoc is the god of all weather, wind, air, and water. His symbol is a blue circle.
Cult of Altad: The god of the dead. Altad rules the underworld and controls the dead. His symbol is a skull.
Cult of Kaka: Kaka is the goddess of fertility. She rules the forces of birth, sex, love, and prosperity. Her symbol is a young maiden.
Cult of Iruid: Iruid is the goddess of the moon. She rules the night and her followers believe the moon is her gift to them, that each night with a moon is her act of benevolence. Her symbol is the moon.
Cult of Zenat: The god of war. He feeds off of violence, blood, and battle. His followers are always thirsting for war and sacrifice. His symbol is the arm and fist clutching a war axe in the striking position.
These cults often band together in alliances to fight each other since most of them hold common agreements. Most humans avoid this island and ban transporting it's zealous citizens anywhere for fear that they will spread their faiths. While most outsiders mock the island's religions, many have reported seeing strange and terrifying things performed by clerics of the various cults.
