Renta City is the Capital of Clive Isle, a small group of Duchies that unite under the Grand Duke of Renta as their feudal lord and protector. The hot climate of Clive Isle produces some of the most heat hardy knights in the world. Their long curly red hair is what usually set them apart from the other peoples and knights of other nations. Clive Isle is a nation of merchants who ply the seas in smooth and efficient cutters and galleons. Most of the southern world buys their boats off of merchants from the Renta City shipyards. The rangers of Clive Island are often found in nearby places, for a fee. Renta City and the island heavily resent the "threat" of Castle Xio and are ever vigilant of a threat to their Duchies. Each duke usually keeps a trained army under his banner for defense of the realm and his own honor. Recently the dukes have begun seeking gnomish immigration in response to Castle Xio, much to the anger of the sorcerers in the court of the Grand Duke of Renta.
